  • Bar Spoon
    Bar spoon:
    A long handled spoon (usually stainless steel), flat-headed with a long, twirled handle used for mixing and layering of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic mixed drinks.
  • Blender
    Blender:
    An important tool for blending drinks or crushing ice for mixed or frozen drinks. A powerful blender that has the ability to crush ice is recommended.
  • Wing Corkscrew
    Winged Corkscrew:
    Has two levers, one on either side of the worm, used to draw corks from bottles. Also has a bottle opener on one side.
  • Shaker
    Cocktail Shaker:
    A tool used for mixing ingredients by shaking. Two popular types include a Boston shaker and a Cobbler shaker. The Boston shaker is a two-piece with lid and shaker that are inserted into each other for mixing. The Cobbler shaker is a three-piece cocktail shaker that includes a container, strainer, and screw on lid.
  • Strainer
    Strainer:
    Is a metal accessory used to remove ice from a mixed drink after it has been shaken or stirred in a shaker. The most popular is a Hawthorn strainer, which is flat and circular with a handle and several flat stabilizing prongs coming out of the rim. It has spring coils around its edge that ensure a snug fit in most glasses and shakers.
  • Ice Scoop
    Ice Scoop:
    Usually stainless steel, the ice scoop is important to get ice out of your bin while being sanitary and safe. Using an ice scoop or tong will prevent a glass breaking into the ice and a stainless steel bucket will help keep the ice in its form longer and not dip out.
  • Jigger
    Jigger:
    A small double-sided measuring tool, usually stainless steel or glass. Most jiggers have a 1 1/2 oz measuring cup (a jigger) on one side and a 1 oz measuring cup (a pony) on the other.
  • Muddler
    Muddler:
    Is a mixologists tool (usually wooden), used like a pestle to mash or muddle fruits, herbs or spices in the bottom of a glass to release their flavor.
  • Pour Spout
    Pour Spouts:
    Small tool (plastic or metal) used to cap off bottles and then to facilitate pouring.

    Bowls for garnishes, cocktail napkins, cutting board, paring knife, juicer, measuring cup and spoons, pitcher, stirrers, straws.
